About Vickie Woertz, RDN, LCSW

Vickie Woertz, RDN, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist who is committed to providing comprehensive nutrition and mental health counseling. She believes that all clients have the strength and ability to make positive changes to improve their physical and mental health.

She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, body image difficulties, non-diet approaches to health and wellness, sports nutrition, anxiety, depressive disorders and emotional dysregulation. Vickie provides individual nutrition therapy, individual counseling, groups for the treatment of eating disorders, meal support, nutrition education, Fear Food Challenge groups, multi-family groups, co-leads DBT skills classes for adults and provides presentations for the community and professional settings. 

Vickie earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science from Syracuse University. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, NASW (National Association of Social Workers) and International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. She is intensively trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and collaborates with other intensively trained clinicians. Her work is greatly informed by the non-judgmental and validating tenets of DBT.

Vickie has over 25 years of experience working in the field of eating disorders including working in various treatment modalities and levels of care including inpatient, day treatment, intensive outpatient and private practice settings. She has also worked or interned in college counseling centers including Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania and Kean University. Additionally, she has been a presenter for various school, community and professional groups in the field of nutrition.
